Profile Summary 

Dr. Anubhuti Maurya is a historian of medieval and early modern South Asia. Her research interests include political history of imperial and regional formations, cities in early modern south Asia, Persianate narrative traditions and spatial practices of the Mughal empire. Currently, she is working on completing her monograph on Kashmir in sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, when the region was under Mughal rule.
