A Workshop on Ceramic Classification was organised by Jaya Menon and Hemanth Kadambi that was conducted in the Archaeology Laboratory on 14th September 2019. Thirty-one undergraduate and graduate students participated in the Workshop, from University of Delhi, O.P. Jindal Global University, Shiv Nadar University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University. Deepak Nair from Delhi University and Christopher Hale of O.P. Jindal University made presentations on classification methods at the Workshop, while students handled ceramics to learn techniques of classification and documentation methods under the supervision of Deepak Nair, Christopher Hale, Aadil Zubair of Ambedkar University, Supriya Varma of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Biswajit Devbarma (Independent Researcher), as well as Hemanth Kadambi and Jaya Menon from SNU.
